HYPO #V-B: Same original conveyance (“to Abe, Blair, and Cal as joint tenants”). Later, Abe leases the property to Deb for $100/month. Deb then occupies the property. Later, Abe dies. Think about (i) what rights (short of partition) Blair and Cal should have with respect to their interest in Blackacre; and (ii) who now has the right to possess or occupy Blackacre.
