Natural Hazards Located On the Property Landowners do not have a duty to protect persons outside their land from natural hazards on their land. Exception: Persons in densely populated areas must protect a public road from trees on their property.

Artificial Hazards Located On the Property Landowners have a duty to protect persons outside their land from an unreasonably dangerous risk of harm.
